Social Anxiety  Disorder

Social Anxiety  Disorder is not just shyness and a fear of public speaking. It is a  debilitating psychological problem that leaves a person resisting and  avoiding most contact with others. Some people get physically ill when thinking about interacting with others. Others isolate themselves and find working with others painfully hard. On this page are some questions to ask yourself to help determine if you have Social Anxiety Disorder.*  Since psychotherapy  is an effective treatment for social anxiety, consult a therapist if  you answer yes to these questions.
